Agricultural Scholarships

Did you know that the Litchfield Farmer's Club offers $1,000.00 scholarships open to Farmer's Club Members, their families and graduating students in Litchfield and surrounding towns who have an interest in pursuing careers in Agriculture or similar fields?!?

Each year the Litchfield Farmers' Club sponsors a $1000 scholarship open to members and their families and all graduating students from: Litchfield, West Gardiner, Richmond, Sabattus, Wales, Bowdoinham, Bowdoin, Monmouth, Winthrop, Manchester, Farmingdale, Randolph, Pittston, Dresden, Topsham, Lisbon, Lewiston, Greene, Leeds, Wayne, Woolwich and Bath area, as well as Litchfield Fair Youth Agricultural Exhibitors. 
Special consideration will be given to students majoring in Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences or one of the Life Sciences. Students with a history of participation and volunteering with Litchfield Fair will also be given special consideration. 
The Litchfield Farmers' Club Scholarship Committee will choose the recipient for this scholarship. The Committee will make the decision based on the information provided from this application. 
The Scholarship Recipient will be announced in June and will be mentioned on Social Media and in the Fair Book.

The monetary award will be given after successful completion of the first semester of post-secondary education and proof of enrollment in a second semester of qualifying major program. 

Applications must be received by May 1st.
